The department was setup with the aim of nourishing the students into highly skilled engineers possessing extensive knowledge in the field of electronics .The department is fortunate to have a highly learned faculty and a motivated students body.

To cater to the diverse needs of today�s electronics industry, the course gives the students a firm foundation in electronics and the knowledge of how to apply electronics techniques in communication .This course also equips the students with the knowledge and skill in electronics ,and its application in control engg. & instrumentation.

The curriculum is designed to meet the ever changing needs of the electronics industry. This in turn requires the students not only to have excellent knowledge of their core subjects, but also a good understanding of computers both hardware and software .The department is proud to posses some of the most well equipped labs and workshops with adequate computer facility. The syllabus is prepared by the experts from the various industries and learned faculty from reputed institutes of national status. It is diverse and provides the would be engineers an insight into the latest technology.
