Jed Yingst's Story
JY: "I still have my BH and have only recently found a person that knows everything about System 80 machines and Black Hole in particular. He is now bringing my BH into almost new condition. I have enough parts to build several machines and he has agreed to accept payment in parts. Although my machine has less than 5000 plays on it, I haven't had it on in over 7 years. Joe must have purchased another BH. I paid him $2,000 for his machine on the same day I delivered it to him. I later sold it."
So there you have the remarkable story behind one of the most exceptional games in the history of pinball. It's apparent where Seitz and Buras earned their corn on the playfield window fitting and game layout, as the production game clearly has numerous differences and additions to those features on the prototype. Jed's pictures of the prototype Black Hole can be viewed from the next page. Many thanks to both Joe Cicak and Jed Yingst for sharing their priceless memories and for their contributions to the game we know so well.
