Once again the acolytes of St. Rosario parish (KOA-ROYAL) and their respected parents had their successful Christmas Party which was held at the beach. A two-in-one activity as we call it. We usually have a Beach Party every summer, but this year, 2003 we ran out of time. This year we have had numerous recreational and spiritual activities such as the Sports fest, Recollection and Camp-in, and liturgical activities such as Pedro Calungsod's' anniversary , Flores de mayo masses, and the series of high mass celebrations as well as the Sto. Rosario Parish Fiesta celebration. We agreed to combine both activities so as to still enjoy the best both before the year ends.
The Christmas Party serves as the culmination of all the activities we had for the year. It is also the time wherein all the acolytes together with their respected parents and families can join, celebrate and enjoy together the Christmas season. It is also in this time that we get to enjoy ourselves thru games and presentations in the program.
This year, because our Christmas Party is also a Beach Party, obviously we were dressed for the beach and whose minds and hears are for the food (hehehe... jk!jk!jk!) the Christmas spirit I mean.
A variety of food which was brought and prepared by every every acolyte's and their families was deliciously tempting. From arrival, first thing we did was settle down to our reserved cottage and then brought out the food and drinks. Lechon and ice cream was also present.
Everything have been arranged, Fr. Arnie initiated the welcome address and thanksgiving prayer. And the rest... the rest is in our stomach (hehehe... jk!) There were more food which is more than enough for everyone... enough for a few rounds... (hehehe...)
After all the eating and drinking and eating and drinking (round 2) and... so long and so forth... there were games and presentations. These were actively participated both by the acolytes and the parents. After all the fun and excitement others went ahead to bathe in the sea. And again... the rest... the rest is fun... fun... fun... Sana maulit muli... Pangako.... (hehehe) Until next time... kita-kits! KOA-ROYAL Forever. KV |
