Luffy is the captain of the straw hat crew, his dream is to be king of the pirates, he has black hair and black eyes, a scar under his left eye, and you'll never catch him with out his hat close by (if not on his head). He is wild and laid back acting way younger then 17 and has a very, very, very large appitite. He is often called Straw-Hat(i wonder why) and he also refers to himself as a rubber-man. B-day: May 5
Story of the scar: Luffy was still little when he stabed himself under his left eye to prove that he was brave enough to go with his role model, Shanks, Pirate crew....it didnt work.
Story of the Hat: This is a long story if told in detail so ill just tell the basics, After Luffy had eated the gum gum friut he was thrown in to the sea by a mountain bandit, Shanks saved him but lost his arm in the process. This convinced luffy to wait untill he was ready to go out to sea and Shanks gave him his hat, to remind him of his promise to be better then them one day, before he left Luffy's town for good.
Legend of D: Gol D. Rodger(not gold rodger) and Monkey D. Luffy a mysterious lady hinted at the importance of this middle initial but I dont know the details.
