Notes:
-Joe is transfered to RAF Manby for a "Bomb Leader's Course". Because this course is specifically for Bomb Aimers he is not flying with his regular crew. This saves his life.
-The position of Bomb Leader within a squadron involved responibilty for briefing other Bomb Aimers on the technical details of  the targets and ordinance for each operation. It would also incude ongoing training and updates on changes in equipment and techniques.
-Because this is a training situation, he is back on Wellingtons
