The Sisters of Theta Phi Kappa by Kayla Perrin is a wonderful tale about four sorority sisters who call themselves the fabulous four and the fabulous four they were.
Jessicas character shows no matter what mistake you make in life; you can overcome your fear by facing it. Only when Jessica faced her past she was able to put her life together. The reader will learn a secret has a way of coming out no matter how hard you try to hide it. I think the author could have left the gun incident out of the story.
Shereen and Yolandas friendship relationship brings life into the story. Even though Yolanda deceived Shereen, she finds it in her heart to forgive Yolanda. No man was able to come between them. I like the fact that they were able to overcome their differences and remain friends
I think the way Yolanda cared for her mother was very special. The author left you wondering if Yolandas mother ever came out of her depression.
Ellies character was very interesting; she brings laughter into the story. Ellies relationship with a married man will make readers think twice before getting involved with a married person. Most men do not leave their wives, why buy the cow when you can get the milk free? Eventually Ellie came to her senses.
The Sisters of Theta Phi Kappa was a well-written story of romance, betrayal, and secrets. The reader will be able to relate to the characters personalities.
The four women had formed a special bond since college and kept that bond through their adulthood. It is the kind of relationship between friends that we all desire.
Kayla Perrin is truly a talented writer that keeps you on edge. I like her style of writing; she is able to take you to the past without confusing the reader. It is worth reading.

On a scale of one to five, I give this novel a 4.9999. I truly enjoyed this book. The novel was fast paced and I could not wait to get to the end and find out who was stalking Jessica, how Ellie was going to fan out with Richard, and which one of the ladies were going to end up with Terrence.
When I first read the title, I thought that this was going to be another "Sorority Sister" book. It was just the opposite, Ms Perrin used the sorority angle as the foundation of these ladies friendship.
Ms. Perrin really put her creativity to work with this Novel. When can you pick up a book and find such diverse characters, but yet such familiarity. I liked how each character was thought through and fresh in nature. All the characters had their own goals, personalities, and life styles. The descriptive flair that Ms. Perrin has is absolutely awesome, because I felt the slap that Yolanda received from Shereen.
Of all the characters in the book I really can't say that I had a favorite because Ellie annoyed me. Jessica made me want to scream, "tell your husband, fool". I wanted to shake some sense into Ms. Doormat Shereen and only God knows how much I wanted to punch Yolanda in her head.
But overall, this was a very easy and enjoyable read.
