NOT EVER FIGHT OVER A MAN!
I can not stress this enough. Real Divas
never participate in "Cat Fights". It is demeaning to all women. Now if a chick
gets in your face talking BS, then you have to correct her, but do not start a fight over
some prick! It is not worth it; HE is not worth it. |

NEVER DEPEND ON A MAN FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
This is very important and crucial. Real Divas are
self-sufficient. That means rent (mortgage), food, clothes, hair, nails, etc. If he wants
to buy it for you, fine. Just make sure it is not because you can't do it for yourself.
You see when we depend on a man it is harder to get rid of him. That is why so many of us
remain in harmful relationships. |

MAKE YOUR DREAM YOUR CAREER.
This is the only way to be happy. We have to work to
survive, but also strive to make whatever your "gift" is support you
financially. I'm a writer. It doesn't pay the rent, but someday it will. This is how I
stay alive. |

KEEP DESTRUCTIVE PEOPLE OUT OF YOUR LIFE.
This is becoming a cliche but it is very real. People who
bring you down and are too critical get them away from you. They only hinder your growth.
This, of course, includes men who are harmful to us whether physically or mentally, but
also our female friends who are jealous of us. If you are a true diva, jealousy will
arise. But don't play into it because that's their problem, don't make it your own. |

DEAL IN REALITY NOT ILLUSIONS.
Prince Charming is not going to save you, nor is that great
man in your life even close to him. He is a human being of flesh and blood. Many women
deal in dreams and fantasy when it comes to relationships that's why we get so hurt when a
man does not live up to our expectations. Think REALISTICALLY about your mate and other
people in your life. That is the only way to stay in control and a Real Diva is always in
control! |

EXUDE CONFIDENCE AND ASSERTIVENESS.
Know who you are and remember it. Be assertive in life and
go after what you want. When you do this it will show in your face and in the way you
move. Real Divas are never arrogant or flamboyant. There is no need to be. When you are
confident in who you are there will be no reason to broadcast it, it will show, believe
me. |
