Sam and Greg's 2nd movie, on the same tape and made in the same day, the Battle is a pretty funny movie for being made by SGF. It's 15 minutes long, and has drawn-out action. The signifigance of this movie is very important. It is the first debut for many of the famous and popular characters of SGF that brought in the "big bucks" (which is a whopping $0.00) Yeh, we don't really benefit too much from all the time we put into these masterpieces. But at least
we get to share them with the large audiences that come to see them- a number we can't even count! Anyway, this movie brought to stardom characters like Super Ewok, who you'll find floating around on our homepage, The Evil Clown, who at that time wasn't evil and was still protecting the ewoks and their village from the empire. (He later turns evil and destroys the village, in Attack of the Clowns, Ep. 1, The Alliance) It also introduced the slightly different character of Darth Vader, who later appeared in The Island, Return to the Island, and the attack of the Clowns trilogy.
Anyway, here's a short bio thing for the movie.
An imperial outpost has been built on the forest moon of Endor, near a small Ewok village. Everything is fine until Darth Vader goes outside one day. Unfortunatley, he has an asthma problem where he continually coughs until his head pops off. The Ewoks steal his head and get into a big "battle" with the imperials, who are trying to get Vader's head back. The imperials are doing well, until the Ewoks' "gaurdian" comes out to play. (It's the Clown) He kills all the stormtroopers but a few and the Ewoks live happily for a while longer. Oh, and Darth Vader gets his head back and leaves with the few remaining troops.
It's actually a pretty good movie. |
