| ATTACK OF THE CLOWNS * * * Kervere and Lile were screaming like girls and running frantically through the village in search of a way out. Both of the village's ramps were gone. Their only hope was to find a fallen tree that they could turn into a ramp. Yells and moans of agony mixed with the sound of crunching trees and bones rose throughout the village. It was all a big blur, a dizzying experience. Something had to be wrong. The Clown had always protected them. Always. Now he was destroying all that he'd fought to protect. It didn't make sense. None of it made sense. A flash of red with white polka dots was the last thing either woman saw. Then they were crushed under a headbutt from the Clown. Yit had just made it to the ground when he saw his wife, Lile, get crushed under the Clown's hard head. Actually, it was quite soft and fluffy, but once again that doesn't matter. Yit picked up his newest arrow, which had fallen to the forest floor right beside him, and checked the tip. It was the sharpest arrow that he'd ever made. It was the perfect tool to take down the giant Clown. Without another thought Yit ran straight at the Clown's leg. He dug his arrow deep into the fluff, savoring the taste of victory. Suddenly that taste turned to blood as the Clown kicked him back into the village. He raised his bloody head, but could lift nothing more. As his eyes fluttered closed, he noticed the whole village collapsing around him. It was too late for anyone to save any of the village's Ewoks now. They were all dead. All but one. Super Ewok lay in a puddle on the ground. He was still dead. Then suddenly he used his super powers and came back to life. He stood up and noticed that the village was crushed. Nobody could have survived the destruction. There was only one thing left to do: escape. The storm was still raging furiously in the sky. It wouldn't be a good idea to fly. Suddenly he had an idea. There was something in the forest nearby, although he couldn't remember what because his head was so groggy. He could use it to escape. He used his super powers to speed his run into the forest. Off in the distance he heard leaves crunching. It was his friend, but he couldn't remember his name. Super Ewok had a plan. He would start the whatever-it-was and wait for what's-his-name to catch up before he left the ground. Yes, that's what he would do. * 4 * NEXT PAGE |
