Back in the 1980's, Kathy Mar did two albums for Thor Records, called "Plus Ca Change" and "Plus C'est La Meme Chose." As I was told back then, the songs released on these tapes were her songs as she thought they should sound, rather than someone else. The albums included songs like "Drink Up the River" with a wonderful banjo counterpoint, "Songbird" with the backup vocals like she wanted them to sound, just for starters. They also brought us some of the most (in my opinion) beautiful songs of the time, like "Ivory Rose," and "Little Green Eyes," as well as one of the funniest pieces of shtick I can recall, Eric Bogle's "Nobody's Moggy" (as performed by the Tommy Dorsai Band with the Android Sisters!).
If you've not heard these albums before, you're in for a treat. If you have, you're still in for a treat.

The double CD is $25.00. If you have no way to get the old cassettes, this is more than a bargain, especially with three new cuts!
