Saudi Arabia is a wonderful country that has been blessed with untold resources and wealth. The wealth of this country lies in the traditions of the Saudi citizen and the oil in the Eastern Province. The tradition still remains in every soul and in every citizen but the oil to maintain a high quality of life and sustainable income has been taken away from you. You are the future hope of Saudi Arabia but if you do not act today, nothing will remain for you to prosper upon. Is there a good reason why you do not enjoy freedom of speech? Is there a good reason why women in Saudi Arabia are not productive members of the society? Is there a good reason why you cannot exercise your rights as a Saudi citizen to express your concern for your future? Is there a good reason why corrupt Saudis should rule ? Is there a good reason for you to stand and watch the future of your children go down the drain? Is there a good reason for the Sudeiri Seven to rule with secrecy and without your participation?

What is the future of Saudi Arabia?

30 or 40 years from now when the oil is finished, where will Saudi Arabia be ? We have entrusted the affairs of this country to the al-Saud House and the results are that after 23 years of high income, Saudi Arabia today has a deficit. If we have a deficit in the last year of oil revenues, what will happen to Saudi citizens? We need to take matters in our own hands and choose leaders who can get us out of the quagmire Fahd and his brothers have put us in. We have no future to look for nor do we have any security unless we ask, peacefully, that the the Sudeiri Seven remove themselves from power. The tragedy will be that if we do not act today, one day, al-Saud House members will be living in the US and Europe using funds that they have squandered and looted from the national treasury, while normal citizens will be wondering what really did happen and where did the money go ? That money belongs to you. The future decision making of these funds should lie in your hands and in the hands of responsible and visionary citizens able to look for the country's interests first.

Ignorance and stupidity are ruling us today

Did you know that 90% of the water tables in Saudi Arabia have been wasted on an insane agricultural policy that saw us export wheat to other countries at a cost of $3 a bushel when real cost is 20 cents a bushel ? Water underground, in a land like Saudi Arabia, is an immense treasure that should be preserved because water is life. Those water tables have been accumulating for hundreds of years and Fahd, without consensus and with total ignorance, has implemented a policy that took away this precious commodity whose importance will be only felt after the oil is gone.

Please join us and do not be afraid to speak out. Write Congress, the White House, and elected officials worldwide. If we all of us together join hands in stopping this family from ruining the country, we will make a difference. Unity gives us strength. Join our organization and be active to control your destiny and that of your children. If we write enough letters and organize on a worldwide basis and bring other organizations to support us, we will win at the end.

Where does the US stands in all of this?

The US cares about oil and oil only. While watching for continuous oil supplies, the US national security looks for stability as the most important reason to maintain the oil flow. If that stability is threatened, the US will act (the Gulf War). How the US acts is what matters to this cause. If Saudi citizens unite to seek removal of any corrupt member of the al-Sudeiri Seven, the US will have to oblige regardless of any friendly relationship they have built or Bandar bin Sultan has managed in Washington because stability is number one goal. If we build a strong consensus supported by letter writing and faxes and calls, we will succeed in installing new, competent politicians in Saudi Arabia who can lead the country into the 21st century.

How can we unite?

The Internet is a an vast and resourceful platform that will, years from now, replace other medium we use today to receive and dispatch information. The great thing about the Internet is that you do not need a license, nor a great big expensive business to publish your message. Using this great platform we can send the message to Washington that we want change. That message is not militant. For every letter the US Congress receives, twelve votes are affected. Imagine if we can all organize a systematic approach whereby ALL the presidents, prime ministers, elected or non-elected leaders, and Saudi ambassadors receive letters and e-mail from ALL the citizens and students that want to see changes in a society that has no respect for human rights, that is corrupt to the bone, and that is squandering national wealth, then you can imagine the outcome. Enough pressure will result in industrialized nations taking a position before a disaster happens. And that is what our site is all about.
