When a mild-mannered business man (Sandler) is sent to an anger management class (for a crime he didn't commit, of course), he finds the instructor (Nicholson) is the person to make him all hot under the starched collar. Hopefully funny. (Pred. 6/10)

Based on the very underground comic book, an immortal Tibetan monk (Chow) finds a mentor in a young street kid (Scott) whom he can teach to protect the ancient scroll he's been guarding for the last sixty years. Hopefully a fun action film. though may get too muddled by trying to do comedy. (Pred. 6/10)

Mockumentary captures the reunion of 1960s folk trio the Folksmen (Guest, McKean, Shearer) as they prepare for a show at Carnegie Hall to memorialize a recently deceased concert promoter. It's the same team as Best in Show and This is Spinal Tap, so look for a great show. (Pred. 8/10)

A continental womanizer (Verstegui) is engaged to three different women in three different states. But when he absent-mindedly arranges for them all to be in town on the same weekend, things don't heat up as much as they... explode. Might be good. (Pred. 7/10)

Palindromic little kid Stanley Yelnats (LaBeouf) is sent to juvenile dention center Camp Green Lake for a petty crime he didn't commit. The camp's warden (Weaver) and her side-kick, Mr. Scary Sir (Voight), forces Stanley and his fellow campers to dig holes in the long-dry lake as punishment. Makes you wonder what's down there, right? I loved the book, but none of the cast looks like I would think they would. But hopefully will still be good. (Pred. 7/10)

A father (O'Neal), concerned that his wannabe-rapper son (Kennedy) will embarrass him during his bid to become the governor of California, has his campaign manager (Underwood) hire two Juilliard-trained actors (Diggs and Anderson) to pretend they're true-blood gangstaz. The fake thugs kidnap the wack MC and take him to Compton, to expose him to the real world. How about no? (Pred. 3/10)

Jake Vig (Burns) is a consummate grifter about to pull his biggest con yet, one set to avenge his friend's murder. But his last scam backfired, leaving him indebted to a mob boss (Hoffman) and his enforcer (Garcia). Sounds OK. (Pred. 6/10)

| Identity |
4/25/03 |
Ten strangers are trapped inside a hotel when a nasty storm hits. As soon as they begin to become acquainted, they start dying one by one. It's been pretty quiet about this movie, but it sounds like both an intriguing premise and yet a slasher flick. But Amanda Peet's in it! (Pred. 8/10)

The Grombergs are a prominent, dysfunctional New York family busy wallowing in their separate lives. Papa Gromberg (Kirk Douglas), catching a spark in his twilight years, tries to reconcile with his son, Alex (Michael Douglas) and grandson, Asher (Cameron Douglas). But the younger Grombergs have their own issues--Alex is desperate to not turn out like his father, and Asher's your typical fifth-year college senior. Saw a preview for this; looks generally funny. (Pred. 6/10)
