| * The town of Takeno is the next town west of Toyooka. [See the map of Tajima] Takeno has a really nice beach for sunbathing and drinking beer during the summer. With artificial breakers, Takeno Beach (Takenohama) is ideal for a relaxing swim. To get to the beach by car, it takes about 30 min. from the apartment, or a 15-20 min. walk from the Takeno train station. |
