* As is fairly obvious, there is internet access here in Toyooka. The server that the JETs in this area use is called North Kansai Japan Net. Their main office is here in Toyooka, and if you want to start an account with them, you can go in person and ask them to hook you up. I forget what the monthly fee is, as it is taken directly out of my bank account. The dial-up connection is a local call, so you also have to consider the phone bill! (Unlike the States, the phone company in Japan, NTT, charges for local calls!)
* There is also a brand-new internet cafe in Toyooka, and it's just a 5 minute (or so) walk from the apartment! However, I hear that it's quite expensive...
