The Teachers of Minato Part 2
Here are more teachers & staff of Minato JHS (July 2001)...
DOI-Sensei Ms. Doi is the music teacher, and also is in charge of the school band. She is the homeroom teacher for the ichi-nensei's class 1 (referred to as 1-1), a class of 21 students. She's a good person, and has a nice voice.
MUKOHARA-Sensei The science teacher, Mr. Mukohara is the homeroom teacher for the ichi-nensei class 2 (i.e., 1-2), a class of 20 students. He also coaches the boys' tennis team. He's really nice, and he too likes to play the guitar.
TANIGUCHI-Sensei Ms. Taniguchi is the Japanese teacher. She is one of the four teachers teamed together to oversee the goings-on of the ichi-nensei (first year) students. She's actually a sort of substitute for Ms. Okamoto, who is on sabbatical leave this year. (Okamoto-sensei is currently studying in Kyoto, and will return to Minato JHS next April) Taniguchi-sensei is very pleasant, always smiley, and seems to have a good sense of humor.

KOBAYASHI-Sensei Mr. Kobayashi teaches industrial arts, as well as girls' physical education. He also teaches computer classes, and is kind of the resident computer expert. Although a bit quiet, he too is a nice guy.

So, as you can probably see, I've found all of the teachers and staff at Minato Junior High School to be very nice and friendly. However, they might be a bit quiet and shy when you first arrive; this is only natural, of course. It took me a while to get used to them, and probably a bit longer for them to get used to me. (Who knows, they might take to you immediately!) Keep in touch, and let me know how things progress between yourself and the other teachers here! |
