Maria was walking home. She had just finished het shift at the Crashdown Caf�.
She was very tired and all she wanted to do was have a long relaxing bath and then go to bed.

When she came home she found a letter on the refrigerator that said that her mom was away and that she came back in 3 days.
"What else is new?!" Maria thought.
She locked the door and went to the bathroom. She was in the bath for 3 minutes when she heard a knock. It sounded like the knock came from her room. Someone was knocking on her bedroom window!

She went out, quickly pulling a towel around her and went to her bedroom. She went to the window and saw it was Michael. Michael Guerin.
She stood there thinking if she should open the window or not. Eventually she opened it.

Michael came in and said: "Well, that took you long enough!"
"Yeah, well I was just having a very relaxing bath so..." Maria replied.
"What do you want?" she added.
"Why would I want anything?"
"Well, maybe because you came here and knocked on my bedroom window at 11 pm?!" Maria said sarcastically.
"Yeah, well. I saw that your mom left this afternoon so I thought..."
"What?" Maria asked.
"Well, that you could use some company" Michael didn't feel comfortable saying this.
Maria could see.
"And besides, if someone is going to kill you because you are all alone I want it to be me" Michael added with an evil grin. Maria laughed.
"Okay, Spaceboy, you can keep me company" Michael grinned.
"But I have to put some clothes on" Maria said. She just realised that she was only wearing a towel.
She went to the bathroom. "Well, I don't mind you know!" Michael yelled after her.
"I bet you don't!" Maria replied.

When she came back she saw Michael sitting on the couch in the living room watching tv.
She sneaked up behind him. But Michael had noticed this. When Maria was in reach he pulled her over the couch and pushed her onto the couch. Maria fought back.
"No, no stop!" she yelled when Michael started tickling her. She couldn't stop laughing.
"Ok ok, what do you want?" She asked Michael behind giggles.
"You" he whisperd thinking she couldn't hear him.
"What?" Maria asked. Did she just hear him say 'you'?
"Uhm, what about a glass of cherry coke. I'm drying out here!" Michael quickly said.
"Ok, I'll go get it" Maria said as she got of the couch and went to the kitchen.
Had she heard him wrong? Or did he really say that. "Never mind" she thought. If he had said that, he was never going to admit it. So she just got 2 cherry cokes and went back to the living room.

Michael was watching a Metallica videoclip.
"Do we have to watch this?" Maria asked as she sat down beside Michael and handed him the glass of cherry coke. "Well, yeah!" Michael said as of it was the most natural thing in the world.
"Michael, listen to me, you are in my house, this is my couch and that is my tv, it's also my remote control so..." "What?" Michael asked.
"Aaaaaaaahh!!!" Maria yelled as she went to the kitchen to get some candy.
Michael just watched her walk away. And smiled. He liked having this effect on her.

But when Maria came back he wasn't watching Metallica anymore.
Maria smiled. She sat down beside Michael.
"Well, what do you wanna watch then?" Michael asked her.
"So, you actually listened to me?" Maria asked sarcastically
"Never mind" Michael said as he was going back to the Metallica videoclip.
"Ok, ok, uhm I dunno" Maria said quickly.
"Everything is better than Metallica!"
"I have to disagree with that!" Michael answered.
"They're simply THE BEST!"
"What the hell are you talking about?, that isn't music!" Maria said.
"Yes, it is!" Michael defended himself.
"No, it isn't"
"Yes, it is"
No, it isn't"
"Yes, it is"
"Yes, it is"
"No, it isn't"
"Huh?" Michael said "What just happend?"
Maria was laughing "Tricked you!" she got out between laughs.
"YOU!" Michael yelled and started tickling her again.
"No, please, stop, DON'T!" Maria yelled
Then Michael slipped and fell on top of Maria.
They just stared at each other.
"Uhm, we should uhm..." Maria then said.
"Yeah, we should" Michael said as he was getting up.
