Maria walked to her locker but stopped when she heard a familiar voice call her name.
"Hey" Liz said when she reached Maria.
"Hey" Maria said as she turned around to see her best friend standing there.
"So, another fascinating english lesson huh?!" Liz said.
"Uhm, sorry, what?" Maria asked confused. She hadn't heard what Liz just said because she had been spending every minute since yesterday thinking about Michael.
"Never mind, so what did you do yesterday evening?"
"Well, at first I took a long relaxing bath but then an unexpected guest came by" Maria answerd.
"Oh? Tell me, tell me! Who was it?" Liz asked, now very interested.
"Michael" was Marias short answer.
"Really? What happened?" Liz asked.
"Nothing"
"Nothing?"
Maria sighed "No,nothing happend"
"Oh, because your mom was home right? So, she kicked him out again with the usual newspaper?"
Maria laughed. "No, my mom is out of town for 3 days"
"Oh" Liz said. "So, Michael was at your house, your mom wasn't home, and nothing happend?"
Liz said, still not believing the story.
"No, nothing happened"
"Then what the hell did you two do all evening? I feel like I have to pull everything out of you!" Liz said, a little frustrated. They always talked about everyting and now Maria didn't say anything.
"Sorry" Maria said. "Well, he knocked on my bedroom window while I was taking that bath, so I quickly pulled a towel around me and opened the window".
Maria spend the following half an hour telling Liz everything that happened.
When she finally did, she felt a lot better.
"Now, what do I do now?" "I can't just keep ignoring him"
"Just talk to him like nothing happened" Liz suggested.
"I mean, that is the best way of showing him you don't have feelings for him"
"You don't have feelings for him, do you?" Liz asked as she saw Maria's face.
"Uhm, well I ........." Maria started. "MARIA, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Liz yelled.

"Finally!" Maria thought as she walked to Liz and Alex. She had just spend 3 hours listening to very boring stories from her history teacher. She didn't even remember what they were about.
"So..." Alex said as she sat down beside him.
"No, you know!" Maria said as she looked angrily at Liz.
"I'm sorry!" Liz defended herself.
Maria sighed. She seemed to do that a lot lately. "It's okay, at least I don't have to tell the whole story again" "So, what do you think about it?" Maria asked Alex
"I don't know, I mean, if you really like the guy, go for it!"
Then Maria saw Max, Isabel and Michael. They sat down at a table.
Maria kept taking glances at Michael. She just couldn't help herself.
"H� Maria!" Alex yelled, so loud that probably the whole school had heard it.
"Earth to Maria!" Alex yelled
"yeah, I heard you!" Maria yelled back.
She felt Michael staring at her. "Listen, I have to go. I have to get some books and...... stuff" Maria mumbled as she walked away.
Could her day get any worse?!
"Ms DeLuca" Why did she had to ask that? "Yes"
She saw her english teacher standing there. And she didn't look to happy.
"Ms DeLuca, I remember saying last week, that a paper had to be made. And had to be ready today!" "Uhm, well......." Shit, how was she gonna get out of this one.
"We made it together" she suddenly heard a very familiar voice say.
"Well, look who we have here, nice to actually show up for class today Mr Guerin"
"Well, then you have the paper right?" The teacher asked.
Maria looked hopefull at Michael. Oh please, please, please, please.
"Uhm well, we were planning on finishing it yesterday, but something very important came up so..." The teacher sighed. "Okay, I want that paper on my desk tomorrow morning, got it?"
Maria nodded. "Great" The teacher said as she walked away.
Maria sighed. "Thanks" she said to Michael
"No problem" Maria started to walk away.
"But we have a paper to make before tomorrow morning" Michael said as he came walking
next to her. Since when did Michael care about school stuff?
"Well, I'll make it and then put also your name under it, okay?" Maria said.
Oh, please, don't say that you want to help me with it! Maria thought.
"Well, I want to help, I mean, I can't let you get a C, what would mean I also get a C, if I can
get an A, what would mean you also get an A" Michael said.
"Yeah, right!" Maria said.
"H�, stop!" Michael said as he grabbed Marias arm. "Let go of me" Maria said angrily
"Not, untill you tell me what's wrong"
"Nothing is wrong!" Maria yelled.
"Then why can't we make this paper together?"
"Of course we can make this paper together, I just................"
"Okay, fine, we'll make this paper together!" Maria said. She didn't feel like making a scene.
"Okay"
"My house after school, don't be late!" Maria said as she walked in the ladies restroom.
