Walter J. Yarnall, age 80, of 11 Bradford Drive, Leola, Pa. died Sunday, June 9, 1996 at home. He had been under the care of a physician. He was the husband of Ruth Kendig Yarnall, who died in 1994.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Ida Miller Fisher. Yarnall worked as a machinist for the former Sperry New Holland Co., retiring in 1978. He was a member of Calvary Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are a son, Walter J. Yarnall III of West Bridgewater, Mass.; a daughter, Bonnie Kimes, wife of Sean Kimes of Manheim; and four grandchildren.
