- WE'RE BACK!! Thanks for the archivists at geocities.ws, old websites live again! Look for our ancient matriarch Eleanor Gower Yarnold, wife of John Yarnold, whose descent from Edward I, King of England was traced by noted genealogist Gary Boyd Roberts. Her descent is included in his 2018 book titled "The Royal Descents of 900 Immigrants to the American Colonies, Quebec, or the United States". This Genealogy website is a One-Name Study, specializing in the name Yarnold-Yarnall-Yarnell. We have gathered loads of documentation to help researchers. There are many birth, death & wedding records here, and quite a few military records and wills. All those are organized alphabetically, by first name. So, for example, if you want to see if your ancestor served in the British Armed Forces or in the U.S. Civil War, click on "Military" and look for his first name. We have also gathered lots of census information. All available U.S. states from 1790 through 1920 census have been examined and entries for Yarnall/Yarnell, etc. posted at "Census Records". The DESCENDANCY REPORT includes data on the siblings, parents and grandparents of the two Quaker brothers, Francis and Philip Yarnall, who immigrated from Worcestershire, England, to the new Quaker colony of Pennsylvania in 1683. We have also gathered information on thousands of their Yarnall and Yarnell descendants. And the descendancy report, which is in the form of a family tree, has information on several U.K. branches, too.
