New Paris Resident Succumbs While on Visit to Daughter's Home

NEW PARIS, Jan. 30. - Mrs. Victoria (Yarnell) Davis, aged 66, wife of Charles Davis, of this place, died yesterday afternoon while on a visit at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alvie Weyandt, of Reynoldsdale. Mrs. Davis had been in good health until a few days ago when she was stricken with a heart attack. She was a daughter of George and Catherine (Brown) Yarnell and was born November 7, 1864. She was twice married, her first husband being Kinsey Corle, who passed away here several years ago.

Surviving are her second husband and the following children: Mrs. Roy Brown, of Spring Hope; Mrs. Clarence Miller, of Cessna; Mrs. Alvie Weyandt, at whose home she died; Mrs. Ray Allison, of New Paris, and Scott and Otto Corle, both of Johnstown.

Mrs. Davis was a sister of Mrs. David McIntyre, of Hollidaysburg; Mrs. E. E. McCormick, of Blairsville; Mrs. Hart Bush of Bedford; Mrs. Herbert Harbaugh, of Alum Bank; Mrs. Lucy Miller, of Johnstown; George Yarnell, of Dunlo; Frank Yarnell, of Alum Bank, and Clarence Yarnell, of Seward.

The body has been prepared for burial by Undertaker Vernon Geisel, of Alum Bank. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the New Paris Evangelical Church. Interment will be in the cemetery at Mt. Union.
