Obituary for Vernon "Dale" Yarnell

Service for Vernon "Dale" Yarnell will be at 3 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park. Mr. Yarnell, who died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999, was 67.

He was born in Thornton, Wash., and raised in the Pullman and Moscow, Idaho, areas. Mr. Yarnell served in the Army from 1955 until 1963. He moved to Spokane in 1969, where he owned and operated Twin D Construction Company.

His wife, Deanna, died in 1973. Survivors include a son, Steven Yarnell of Spokane; a daughter, Susan Friedlander of Shelton, Wash.; a brother, Donald Yarnell; and four grandchildren.
