Will of Richard Yarnold

Claynes, Worcestershire, England

In the name of god Amen the second day of January in the fifteenth year of the Raigne

of our Soveraigne Lord Charles the second by the grace of god of England Scotland France

and Ireland kinge defender of the faith etc and in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred

sixtie three.  I Richard Yarnoll of the parish of Claynes in the countie of worcester yeoman being

in boddy health and of sound and perfect mynde and memory but aged and I knowing that Death to all

men in this world is certen and yet the houre of death very uncerten:And of being willing that

no debate variance or strife should arise around or happen after my decease betwixt my wief and

children or any other person or persons whatsoever or touching that estate and personall

susstance which the lord in his mercie hath bestowed uppon mee:  And I haveing or_____conseiance

in writening by mee sealed delivered and executed sealed and conveyd all my mesuages lande & tenency

to and uppon such persons and to and for such the and thes and uppon such trust & ____with

in the deeth and conveyance thereof is and or expressed and specified and in such manurrs

is to my liking and contentment And I being willing and desireous to dispose of my

personall estate and substance in such sorte and manner as is herein after mencioned I

make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following And firstly comend

my soule to Almighty god my creater hopeing ___urdly by and through the meritte death

and passion of Jesus Christ my only saviour and redeemer to be made careaker of lief

everlasting in the kingdom of heaven amongst the blessed and holye Angells and secute there

And after this my lief in this world is ended I bequeath my body to the earth and to be buried

and interred in such decent and fitting manner as to my executrix herein after named shall

seeme fitt and convenient And as concerning all my personall estate and substance I do give

and dispose of itt as followeth And first I give and bequeath to my Daughter Joyce the wief

of Robert Yarnoll the summ of ten shillings    Item I give to Charles Yarnall her youngest sonne

the like summe of ten shillings    Item I give to my daughter Appolonia the wife of James Hadley

the like summe of ten shillings    Item I give to my Grandchild James Hadley sonne of the before named James

Hadley the like summe of ten shillings    Item I give to my daughter Dorothy the __wief of Ffrancis

Whythrs [Withers?] the like summe of ten shillings and to her daughter Dorothy ten shillings    And all therein before mencuned summes & legacis my will

is that the same shall be paid to the severall and respectiv legasees herein before named by my

executrix herein after named within the space of the month next after my decease And my

debts and legacies being paid and my funerall expenses discharged All the rest and residue of my

goods Cattals chattalls Corne grayne moneys household stuff and personall estate substance

of that nature or ____ it be I dufully wholly and fully geeve it to my loving wife Appolonia

And I doe make constitute ordayne and appoint my said wif Apolonia to be my sole and only executrix

of this my last will and testament    And I do Revoke and Disanull all former and older will & wills

by mee at any tyme heretofore made or published   In witnes whereof I the said Richard Yarnall

have hereunto putt my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written.
