WILL OF PHILLIP YARNALL - 1758
Son of Phillip and Dorothy (Baker) Yarnall

I Phillip Yarnall of Edgmont in the County of Chester in the Province
   of Pensylvania yeoman being weak of Body but of Sound mind and memo=
  =ry thanks be to God for the same Do make this my last will & Testament
   in manner following  Resigning my Soul to God that Gave it and my body
   to be Buried at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter named also I will
   that all my Just Debts and funerall Charges be Duly Discharged and as 
   to the Residue of my temporal Estate I Leave and Dispose of in manner fol=
  =lowing , first I Give and Bequeath to my Beloved wife Mary my two best
   fether Beds and furniture thereunto Belonging, also one Iron Pot and Kettle
   two thirds of all my Brass and Pewter one Case of Drawers one ovil Table
   one Mare and one Cow of her own Choosing for her own Proper use & 
   Disposal, Likewise two third parts of my Dwelling house Barn & Stables
   with one Hundred and thirty acres of the westwardly Side of my Land
   to be Devided by a Stright line from Francis Smedleys land to Isaac
   Yarnalls land to use at her Discretion During her Natural Life ---

I  Give and Devise to my Son Phillip Seventy four acres & three Quarters 
   of an acre of the Eastwardly Side of my Land to be Bounded by a Stright line
   from Francis Smedleys land to Isaac Yarnalls Land to be for the only Pro=
  =per use of him his heirs and assigns for Ever,  and the Previledg of 
   one third Part of my Dwelling house Barns and Stables During his----
   mothers Natural Life.

I  Give and Devise to my Son David Yarnall all that my Plantation and
   Tract of land which I Bought of George Hall Containing one hundred and
   Sixty five acres Lying and being in the township of Kennit, for the only
   Proper use of him his heirs and assigns for Ever he Paying into the
   hands of my Execitors hereafter named the sum of One Hundred and
   fifty Pounds lawfull money of Pensylvania in manner following that is 
   to Say thirty Pounds in three months after my Deceas and thirty Pounds in
   twelve months after that and thirty Pounds yearly and Every untill the above
   Said Sum of one Hundred and fifty Pounds be fully Paid ---------

I  Give to my Son Abraham the Sum of five Shillings to be Paid by my Executors
   in twelve months after my Deceas     -----     -----

I  Give to my Daughter Jane Yarnall the Sum of fifty Pounds Lawfull mo=
  =ney of Pensylvania to be Paid by my Executors in twelve months after my Decease

I  Give to my Daughter Elizabeth Yarnall the Sum of fifty Pounds Lawfull money
   of Pensylvania to be Paid by my Executors in twelve months after my Deceas

I  Give to my Daughter Esther the Sum of fifty Pounds Lawfull Money of Pen=
  =Sylvania to be Paid by my Executors in twelve months after my Deceas

I  Give to my Daughter Dorothy the Sum of fifty Pounds Lawfull Money of Pensyl=
  =vania to be Paid by my Executors in twelve months after my Deceas

I  Give to my Daughter Mary the Sum of fifty Pounds Lawfull money of Pen=
  -Sylvania to be Paid by my Executors in twelve months after my Deceas

I  Give to my Grandson Phillip Bonsall the Sum of ten Pounds to be Paid
   in Lawfull money of Pensylvania by my Executors when he Comes to the
   age of twenty one years, and if any of my above Said Daughters or my
   Grandson Shall Happen to Dye in their Minority and without Issue then 
   my will is that their Shares Shall be Equally Devided amongst the Rest
   of my Daughters, -- And my will farther is that after the Deceas
   of my above Said wife that the one Hundred and thirty acres of Land
   and mantion House Shall be appraised and if any of my Said Children will
   hold it and Pay the others of my sd Children their Equil Proportions of
   the value there of it is well otherwise it may be Sold & Every of my above
   named Children Sons and Daughters Shall have an Equal Share of the money
   that it shall Sell for.  Provided my Personal Estate Do Pay the 
   Respective Legacies above Given otherwise to be made up out of the above
   Said one Hundred and thirty acres of Land after the Deceas of my Sd
   wife and then the Remainer to be Devided as above -------- ----------

  And I do nominate and appoint my well Beloved wife Mary &
   my Son Phillip Yarnall my Executors of this my last will and Tes=
  =tament and Do nominate and appoint my Brotherinlaws Joshua
   Hoopes & George Ashbridge trustees to See that this y will is -----
   Proformed, hereby makeing null and void all and Every former or
   other will or wills by me at any time or times heretofore made
   for Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal
   this Seventh Day of the Eleventh month, Anno Dom 1758

Chester, December 6th 1758 Then personally appeared Josiah Lewis & Moses
Meredith the witnesses to the foregoing written will and, being of the
people called Quakers, on their Solemn affirmations according to law did
Solemnly Sincerely and truly declare, affirm and say that they were
personally present and did See and hear Philip Yarnall ye testator
before named Sign Seal Publish Pronounce and Declare the foregoing
Writing a[s] and for his last will and Testament and that at the doing
thereof he was of Sound mind and memory to the Best of their
understanding and that their Names Subscribed thereto were of their own
respective proper hands Writing ~~~~~~~~
