Will of Nathaniel Yarnold

Birmingham, Warwickshire, England

   In the name of God Amen    I Nathaniel Yarnold

of Burmingham in the County of Warwick   Sadler 

beeing sicke and weake in body but blessed bee god in

good and perfect memory doe make this my last

will & testament in manner & form following

ffirst I doe commend my spirrit into the hands of god

trustinge that after my departure out of this life I shall

live with god to all etermity and for my worldly goods

I doe dispose of them as followeth,   FFirst I doe give

and bequeath unto my lovinge brother John Yarnold

the summe of ffive pounds and to my Sister Elizabeth

Yarnold his now wife tenne shillings to buy her

a ringe   And to my Coson Elizabeth Yarnold daughter

of my said Brother John Yarnold ffive pounds     Item

I doe give and bequeath unto my lovinge brother

Elisha Yarnold and to my lovinge Sister Margaret

Yarnold the summe of ffive pounds a peece     Item

I doe give unto my beloved sister Elizabeth Crowe

the wife of Robert Crow living in Ireland the

summe of ffive pounds.   Item I doe give unto my

lovinge Sisters Mary Yarnold and Hannah

Yarnold the summe of ffive pounds a peece   And to

my Brother Richard Yarnold the summe of tenn

pounds and all my clothes exceptinge my hat which I

doe give unto my Coson Joseph Emes    Item I doe give unto

my lovinge friends Dorton Earnshaw    Ann Watson widdow

& Margaret Davis ten shiilinges a peice to buy each of

them a ringe. And to Sarah now servant to my master Prine two

shillinges six pense   And lastly I doe constitute & appoint my said

brothers John Yarnold & Elisha Yarnold sole Executor of this

my last will & testament allowinge of them six months for the

paiement of the severall legacyes above mentioned   In witnes

whereof I have heereunto put my hand and seale

the 4th day of July in the yeare of our Lord God 1668

The outer jacket of the will states: "Testatum Nathanaelis Yarnold 24toAugusti 1668", the date the will was proved; indicating a date of death between 4 July and 24 August, 1668.
