Marvin Yarnell

Services for Marvin Yarnell, 67, of Stockton, Missouri, are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at the Assembly of God Church in Stockton, Missouri. Mr. Yarnell died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005 in hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born March 21, 1938, in Houston, Mo., the second son of Curtis and Zelda Yarnell.

Mr. Yarnell was the builder and owner for 13 years of the Stockton State Park Marina. He served for 14 years as the Cedar County Southern Commissioner. He was a member of Stockton Lodge No. 283, Abou Ben Adam Shrine Club, Lake Stockton Shrine Club and a Scottish Rite KCCH 32nd degree Mason.

He married Dorothy Henson in 1968. She survives, of the home. Other survivors include his parents; three sons, Van, of Springfield, and Curt and Bruce, of Stockton; three daughters, Lisa Renfro, of Houston, Angie Totten, of St. Louis, Mo. and Tanya Ball of Marshall, N.C.; three brothers, Ervin, of Eudora, Kan., Gerald, of Springfield, and Robert, of Rudy, Ark.; and a sister, Lois Cunningham, of Licking, Mo.

The family suggests memorials to Lake Stockton Shrine Club for Shriner�s Crippled Children�s Hospital or the Stockton Nursing Home, sent in care of Brumback Funeral Home, P.O. Box 279, Stockton, Mo. 65785.
