Obituary for Lucinda Yarnell

Lucinda Yarnell, age 100, of Clinton, Tennessee passed away Thursday, June 22, 2006 at her residence. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Claxton. She taught school for over 44 years in the Anderson County School System. She loved gardening and flowers. She also loved children.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Willie W. & Lucinda Franse Yarnell; sisters, Minnie Seale, Joanna Chamberlain, Oalean Howard, Noarean Tripp; brothers, Samuel Yarnell, Richard Yarnell, K.P. Yarnell & J. D. Yarnell. Survivors: sisters, Rachel A. Yarnell of Clinton, TN, Evelyn Doughty of Claxton, TN; special niece, Fran Linder of Cambridge, Minnesota; special nephew, John Yarnell of Clinton, TN; several nieces & nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24, 2006 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
