   In the name of god Amen In the year of our Lord God / m / iiiii / lvii

and the xix day of July I John Yernoll of Stockton being sick in

body and of good and p fect remembrance do assygn ordayne and

make my testament and last wyll aftr thys manr and forme

folowing    ffirst and princypally I gyve and hollye bequeath my soole

unto Almighty God my maker and redemr and unto the blessed lady

saint marye and to All the holye compenye of heyveyn / and my body to be

buryed wtin the paryshe church of Sant Michaell in Stockton ~~

Also I gyve and bequethe unto the paryshe church of Stockton towards

the byying of a godly challis-----------vis viiid

Also I gyve and bequethe to Jane my wyfe _e lands of corn being

A_____ land and she to have every yere duryng the terme of my leyse

_ lands my executor to tyll them / sow them fall them and carry them

And my wyfe to fynde sede when she hath had an crope the lands

to be sett/ owtt and devydyd by the oversetter of in dyferent ____

Also I gyve and bequeath unto my wyfe the posessyon of all my houshold

stuffs she to have the chamer Above the hall wt A bed and suche thyngs

as longhth therto / and as ys in the house at _____ of ______

Also I gyve unto my son George to behave hisself well towards

my wyfe and my son xxs to be payd at convenyent tyme apountyd

by my overserrs ; The resydeu of my goods not gyven and bequethyd;

I gyve and bequeath unto Thomas yernoll my son wom I ordeyn

and make my holle executor / he to pay my detts and legacyes and to see

my body buryed and to dyspose the resydue of my goods to ye prase of

Almyhgty God and to ye helth of my Soolle / Also I make oversearrs of

thys my last wyll to se ytt p formed / John Robyns of Longyngton

and John Lowsell of Stockton / wyttness / John Lowsell / Willm croke

John Oxson of stockton / John gekens / and henry Lowsell of Ychyngton


Thys is the true inventorye of all the goods and cattell of John
yernoll late of stockton made the ix day of September in the yere
