In the name of God, Amen !, I James Yarnall of Mill Creek Hundred, in the County of New Castle and State of Delaware, being of sound mind memory and understanding Do make and publich this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say;

First, I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully satisfied by my Executrix hereinafter named, as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

Second, I also direct that all my Estate real and personal be appraised and fairly valued by three judicious neighbors, and that the said appraisement be signed by them, a copy of the same shall be given by them to my Executrix.

Third. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Margaret Yarnall all my Estate real and personal of whatsoever kind the same may be after the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses by my Executrix as above directed.

And lastly. I do hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Margaret Yarnall my sole Executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time hereto fore made.

In witness whereof I the said James Yarnall the Testator have to this my last will and testament written on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this Fifth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy four [1874].
