Genevieve Yarnell, age 89, of Walker Township, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at home. She was born June 2, 1915, in Centre County. On March 16, 1941, she married Melvin G. "Henny" Yarnell, who died March 25, 2001. She was a 1933 graduate of Walker Township High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Church in Hublersburg, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for more than 40 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Smith and her husband Dave, of Milton; and three grandchildren, Nicole Snyder and her husband, Shawn, Merrill C. Smith and Adam Lee Smith.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at W. Robert Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paula Curtin-Burn officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Walker Township.
