The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

To all to whom these Presents shall come, Greetings:

Know ye, That in consideration of the monies paid by Francis Yarnal unto the late Proprietaries into the Receivers Generals office of this Commonwealth at the granting of Warrant herein after mentioned, and of the sum of one hundred & eleven pounds fifteen shillings & three pence lawful money now paid by Peter Orwig into the Recr. Genl. Office of this Commonwealth ~~~~~ there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto the said Peter Orwig a certain tract of land called "Orwigsburg" ~~~ situate in Brunswick Township Berks County.... Containing three hundred and nine Acres one hundred twenty six perches & allowance of Six PCent for Roads & Which said tract was surveyed in pursuance of a Warrant dated 5th of September 1754 granted to the said Francis Yarnal, whose Right to the said Tract of Land by Conveyances and Assurances in the Law became vested in the said Peter Orwig with the appurtenances....

In witness whereof Thomas Mifflin Governor of the said commonwealth hereto set his Hand, and caused the State to be hereunto affixed the Seventeenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five and of the commonwealth the Nineteenth.
