Yarnall per the Y-Y Genealogy. 
(MCY note: I have no contemporaneous proof of Daniel’s parentage)

Goshen MM: 1780-9-8 Daniel Yarnall - for his military fines and
being several times disguised with liquor.
1782-1-11 Daniel Y. offers acknowledgement - accepted
1784 (between 6-11 and 9-10 months didn’t photograph for microfilm),
“Drinking to excess".
1784-4-5(? on day & Month) - Disowned.

of Knox Co.; proved 1st Monday in January 1820)

The article states: Daniel, Aaron, Mordecai, Joel and Joseph Yarnell
bought land in Knox County before 1812. 

Same article gives the following for Daniel, Jr.:

to Mary "Polly" Scott in Knox Co.  The second date is as given in d’Armand’s 
Knox County, Tennessee Marriages 1792-1900, pub. 1970. 
Mary “Polly” (Scott) Yarnell,  d. 24 July 1861 aged 70 in Hamilton Co., Tenn.
d. 26 October 1843 Hamilton Co., Tenn; buried old Mount Bethel Presbyterian 
Church near Soddy, Tenn.

- James S. Yarnell, b. 26 Jan. 1818; d.  1 July 1840; buried at Mt.
   Bethel Presbyterian Church near Soddy; served as register of

   m. Samuel Thompson Igou, b. 26 June 1811, d. 2 Aug. 1858,

Mordecai was b. 17 April 1767; d. 30 July 1846 per Portrait & Biographical  Record of Christian Co., Ill., 1893, Lake City Publishing Co., Chicago, Ill. p. 416; which also states Mordecai’s father was "a soldier in the Revolutionary War."

ch. named in sister’s will: William A. 
Y-Y Gen. gives Rebecca a Samuel with birthdate of 5-27-1795, w/ no Mary C. R., m. Mr. Taylor source

3. Henry John. b. 8 Jan. 1797, Tenn., d. 12 May 1866 Moniteau Co., Mo. 
His second wife was Eleanor Murray (Y-Y gives Ellen), per d’Armand. She was born in Massachusetts. Per Y-Y, 1st wife was Susan Standifer.
