Corrections & Additions to
"A Partial Genealogy of the Name Yarnall-Yarnell 1683-1970"
Page 113 - Elizabeth (Cassel) (Boone) Yarnall and daughters probably
went to Fairfax MM, VA. Her husband, Joseph, may have died before
1766, or only Elizabeth and her daughters were still Quakers.
[RY Note: This Joseph was disowned from the Society of Friends for
having joined the British Army.]
- Daughter Asah should be Adah.
- Mordecai m. Leah Jaspers in an Episcoppal Church. I believe there are
descendants of this marriage, and that they moved westward to Fayette
Co., PA and then on to Ohio.
Page 115 - Richard first child of Hannah (Penrose) and Jessie Yarnall
-- Charles Fishers Early Pennsylvania BBirths gives Richards father as
Francis. ??..
Page 117 - Northold County, Pennsylvania probably should be
Northumberland County.
Page 119 - 1880 Soundex & census PA., 79-181-44-23, Ogden St.,
Gerardville, Schuylkill Co., gives the following data about Isaac
Yarnall w/ wife Elizabeth:
Isaac [shown as Icaac in census!] Yarnall, W M, 54, Pa.
Elizabeth (wife), 46, b. Pa.
Robert, 28
William, 17
Irwin, 14
Charles, 12
Elmeria, 8
Joseph, 4
All the younger people are shown b. Pa. The two youngest arent in the
Y-Y genealogy; they could be children of Robert, whose wife was deceased
by this date -- or they are the youngest children of Isaac and Elizabeth.
