Washington Co., Ohio has birth record of an Abraham Lincoln, son
Benjamin and Almira Raney Yarnell, b. Feb.24, 1869. His girls said the Bible
record is correct, and that given by Abe�s mother to them. 1870 census completed
June 29, 1870 gives his age as 3/12. I believe the discrepancy is another case
of a delayed birth certificate changed a year for purposes of eligibility for Social
Security.
