Azel Yarnall was the son of Enoch Yarnall. He wed Martha Hibberd. Azel's will is dated February 10, 1826; and affirmed November 4, 1828 by Joseph Ashbridge and Aron Vogdes. Cited are son Oliver VanMeter Yarnall, daughter Susan Jackson Yarnall, daughter Mary Ann Pusey, and step-daughters Elizabeth Moulder and Sarah Smith.

As directed by his will, Azel's holdings were sold at public sale. Notice of same was made Nov. 25, 1828; sale held Dec. 22, 1828.
