The Library:

RAWSOC has a large rather well-stocked library of roleplaying books, box sets and other materials available for all members to use, especially those people who are feeling brave enough to run their own campaigns.

RAWSOC would like to thank all those kind people who have donated their roleplaying stuff to RAWSOC, particularly Simon Christopher. Without their generosity, we would not be able to offer our members such a wide selection of resources. Thanks very much!

Serious Bit: The Library enables members to participate in a variety of role-playing games without incurring the high costs associated with buying the various books and materials privately. This system however relies heavily upon our members being trustworthy and responsible. Abuse this trust and you spoil it for yourself and others - the Library will not function if the stock is not returned.

We would like to be able to hand over this Library in the future to the next committee and the ones after the next in the same condition as we have it now. In order to preserve this Library for future members, we ask our members who borrow anything from the RAWSOC library to please return it in the same condition as you were given it. This meabs you should return it in one piece, not in several scraps in ten different paper bags.

Whilst I am sure everyone will respect this asset, some conditions must be imposed:

a) Please don't borrow books for private campaings that have nothing to do with the Society as we have a limited number of books.
b) Please be ready to show your NUS card and possibly ever CUS card so we know you're really a member of the University and the Society. Non-members may have to leave a depostit for any books they wanna take out.
c) Please return the books as if you don't we'll have to take it out in blood or sell your kidneys. Also Cardiff University can be informed because as the Library is the property of RAWSOC it is also the property of cardiff University. Non-students are not under the jurisdiction of the University and as such they have to give us money.

This is an old list of our assests and will be brough up to date one of these days. All of these, except for the ones that we have lent out, are located in the MAttSiC-entity's household.
