Background

Chun-Li is the ICPO's special detective assigned to Shadaloo. With management corruption, she was powerless as an official. So, she works in cooperation with Charlie to defeat Shadaloo. Now they take separate paths as they attempt to find M. Bison.

Opinion

Chun-Li has had so many variations to her fighting style over the years. I think with each new Streetfighter game, she teeter-totters in the rankings. She sucked in SF2 and Champion Edition since there was no way she could escape from Dragon Punches. She was good in Turbo and Super. She weakened again in Super Turbo and Alpha 1 (she was mediocre there). She ruled in Alpha 2 (the good ol' days) but in Alpha 3, I guess Capcom decided it was time to weaken Chun-Li once more while keeping Ryu and Ken forever powerful. Actually, she's not THAT bad in Alpha 3, but compared to her Alpha 2 self she needs to report Capcom to the police for raping her of her powers.
