FARISAIDEN EBRAEVAN
Name:Farisaiden Ebraevan

Appearance:
A man looking to be in his mid to late twenties, with a normal tan on a rugged body. He's around 6'2, his muscles being slightly bulky, but more on the sinewy side. His eyes at one time were a deep, almost black red. Now they are simply a beautiful dark blue.

Sleek black hair falls down his back, mirroring the color of his clothing. Black leather pants and boot fit almost perfectly against his toned legs, and the black poet's shirt does nothing to hide the physical power underneath. The belt at his side is slung low to give him better purchase to his sword, and resting between the open collar of his shirt rests a deep blue pendant in the shape of the Raven.

His visage almost always seems unemotional, and rarely does he speak. But when he does it's bass and tone are so beautiful it demands attention, whether he wishes it to or not (See: Alucard from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night). And though his features are handsome and his visage calm, emotionless, inevitably his aura seems to drip with something very dark and
evil ...and in the soft echoes of his soul you can feel something invariably heartwrenching of a deep, terrible loss that is slowly fading away...

The NightMare's mane, tail, and the feathering at its hooves are all made of fire, and its eyes burn like embers, the same color as its hooves. It stands around 18 hands, or 6', at the shoulder, and the rest of it's body is completely jet black. Though frightening, it also has an awesome beauty to it
.

History:
Many, many years ago starts the story of this man. For it wasn't known that the Lady of the Keep, Sarah and Talinda's mother, was begotten a son first. But the Lady of the Gates knew what would befall the land if he lived, so when she was still pregnant with her child she faked a miscarriage, and sent herself to a small cottage because of her greif. Unbeknownst to all, even the king, there she had her son, sending him far into the past, knowing one day he would return to help his sisters.

Generations ago Farisaiden was left at the estate of the Count Ebraevan, the lands that they held under their lord being allies of Raven's Keep. Farisaiden was raised there, and when his parents died he took over their lands. When he was small he met a beautiful blonde child by the name of Cara, and as they grew into adults she became his wife. But during the times
that Farisaiden was the Count of the Ebraevan lands their allies were in war, and he was sent away to help.

Times as such were not good to his lands. With the Count away, his wife began to become bored. Boredom begat an affair with one of the local townsmen.. or two. Due to an injury one day Farisaiden returned to his lands, to his wife.. only to find her in his bed with another man. There was a furious fight afterwords, both slinging faults at the other. In the lands
the Ebraevans were held under there were harsh rules about affairs. Farisaiden took Cara to the High Council, and there she was sentenced to beheading the next morning.

The night was harsh for the both of them. Both thought about what they'd done, what was going to happen. Farisaiden returned to the council, only to find they could not relinquish the command. And in the morning, his wife was beheaded, her last words whispered, "I love you."

Such things are not well for the mind, and the guilt of what he'd done rattled Farisaiden for years, slowly driving him mad. Three years after his wife was killed, on the anniversary, Farisaiden went to the cliffs by the sea that overlooked his lands, pulled his sword, and stabbed himself in the heart, falling to the sea below.

Normally this would be the end.. but rather, this is just the beginning. When people suicide due to love they do not go where most do. They are turned into NightMares, the horses of hell that send horrors to people at night. But Farisaiden wasn't just any NightMare, for he remembered what had happened before he died, thereby splitting his personality into two
entities. This act was due to his new Master, a godling who's name has been long forgotten. Under this godling Farisaiden did unspeakable horrors, and not just those within people's dreams. He moved up quickly within his Master's ranks, soon becoming his right hand man.

But this changed the day he was assigned to capture a woman who had fled to Raven's Keep, then to spy on Raven's Keep itself. The positive energies bit by bit broke down the Master's hold on him. These energies were not the only thing that helped, but also a woman by the name of Lila, who became
Farisaiden's light within the darkness that surrounded him. Ultimately when Raven's Keep fell into darkness, he found out about his true past by Lila and Sarah's hands. He found out other truths as well within the Keep, for his Master told him the truth of his wife's affairs long ago. The Master had set it up, had seduced his wife, and drove Farisaiden mad, to become one of
the most powerful NightMare's under his power. With his newfound truths and the fury behind them, he found the strength and killed his Master, thereby releasing Farisaiden from his Master's hold.

Farisaiden is now finding his new life within Raven's Keep, learning to deal with the light and the darkness within him. The NightMare, who now calls itself Shereth, still lives within Farisaiden. Meanwhile he is helping to restore the lands from the darkness, which was due in part to his Master, and to restore his destined position alongside his sisters as the King of Raven's Keep.

Race:
Looks human...but those who have a sense about such things know he's probably not...and demon hunters seem particularly unfond of him.

Capabilities:
There is a sword at his side and he also has the regular fighting skills. As well he seems very well rehearsed in fire magic...though how much so remains a mystery. He has slight telepathic abilities, which are heightened in his other form because it's the only way he can speak. As far as his NightMare abilities, he can shift in and out of the form in shadows, and in either form he can move to the etheral plane when in shadows. Because of the NightMare it gives him insights into people's fears and true feelings, because the NightMare would use these against the person in their sleep. The Nightmare breaths out a slightly poisonous steam, and can increase it at will to fill a room. The setback of having the NightMare is that it must feed on the fright of mortals, and if the NightMare dies, Farisaiden does as well, and vice versa. Because of this, Farisaiden's lifespan is now unknown.
