Q: Where is Raven's Keep? I mean, is it another realm, are there other lands etc.?
A: Raven's Keep is a large, but quaint castle that is settled along the outskirts of the large city of Messina. Its protector, Lady Sarah offers just that, protection for the land and its people. She is allied with the druids of Bellshire and others. There are other continents that surround this land. Other people, other cities. Just as our world has continents, great and small. There are also the portals that allow other creatures, be they human or no, to enter the realm of Raven's Keep.
Q: Why is there a policy of NO killing? A: Because, this roleplaying is fairly new to people. Some have been here for a long time and it would not be fair to those that are just starting to role play. If their characters were killed, what is the fun in that? No, for now the NO killing will remain as to make it more fun, and learning to those that need the time to hone their skills. We can't all be as great as ME!....(hu..hum...hehe...just kidding :)
If you have a question just email myself, Talinda, Gavin or Phoenix. We'll answer ya and try to keep this page up to date with great information that might help you and others as well.
Q: Who do I contact if I have a complaint to make? If you have a problem with a character, or someone's role playing, email Lady Sarah or Talinda, Gavin, and Phoenix preferably two of them at the same time. Please keep complaints short and to the point
Q: What do I do if no one starts playing with me right away? A: Hang in there! There are many reasons why you may not have gotten a reply yet. First, it may take a couple of days for other players to read your post, compose a reply, and for that reply to reach you. Second, you must realize that other characters are already involved in their own role-playing. Therefore, instead of having them come to you, you must go to them. Read the archives, find suitable characters to interact with, then join in. If you wish, email the players privately and ask them to make a place for you in their role-playing.
Q: Do I have to read every single post? A: We strongly suggest that you do. Even if the threads do not directly involve your character, you will at least learn things that may be useful later on. It is also important, for consistency's sake, to know where all other characters are at any given time.
Q: Can I create and play more than one character? A: Yes, you can. However, if you are new to role-playing, you may want to stick with just one character. Additional characters are much more of a commitment
