| It appears that this Canadian Made Peugeot Sprint was almost unused. The wheel rims still had the unblemished stickers attached. In less than an hour, the bike was checked over, requiring very little to make it roadworthy, and then taken out for a ten mile ride. At twenty one pounds, it is close to the lightest bicycle in the collection. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Of all the bikes in the collection, this Canadian Peugeot is the nicest to ride. Like so many others, this bicycle was rescued from the landfill site. It is in excellent condition, sporting cosmetic damage associated with years of storage, rather than use. Very little was required to make the bicycle road worthy. Used regularily, to commute the eight miles to work each day, the bike has become a favourite ride. Part of this bicycle's present purpose is to help test a new Brooks leather saddle and then report on the seat's performance. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Another Canadian made Super Sport which also is designated as a model UO 9. Unlike the more luxuriously equipped 1984 model, this one never made it to the dump. The bicycle was sitting on its side in someone's back yard. | Peugeots, originated in France, however; the demands created during the Bike Boom of the seventies saw new Peugeot manufacturing facilities spring up in several other countries around the world, Canada being no exception. Some of the nicest bicycles in the collection are Canadian Made Peugeots.
