PLC Computers
Classroom and @ home.

Term II has began with our computers almost completing the upgrade.

During this time the PLC students will continue to do all their work electronically using the class computers on a roster system. Therefore planning and draft work is hand written to reduce the time required publishing.
Any work generated on a home computer is the responsibility of the student, and to submit their material on time, and without any excuses. (we heard them all last term)

The school has MS Office 2003 on all their computers. This software can be used in conjunction with MS Works, Open Office II. There is absolutely no excuse for PLC students to say their work is at home and can't bring it to school. We are now working on students email accounts and this will mean that a student can work on their assignment and then email this to school, work on it some more and email it back to home.

Free Software

If you don't have 'MS Office suite, this software can be used - Open Office II, it's FREE from the internet.
Have no internet, bring me a CD and I will make a copy of Open Office II for you. Still have concerns I will be prepared to help you set this up in your home if required.

Dave uses all the above software and can assist when necessary.

What's up with this thinking stuff ???
