Future Kick (1991)

Cast:Don"The Dragon" Wilson,Christopher Penn,Meg Foster

Apalling Wilson vehicle casts him as a cybernetic bounty hunter who helps a woman (Foster) probe the mystery behind her husband's murder it all leads a to confrontation between Wilson and Penn.

I understand that this was 100% exploitation but come on how much stock footage is Damon Klaus gonna use? You see a lot of strippers in bars and all of it is stock footage from
Stripped To Kill II don't give your hopes up guys because these women look like porn rejects and I have as much testostrone as the next guy but these women were very unattractive...anyway, the story makes no sense as were never sure if Wilson is a cyborg or just a generic bad ass, I tend to lean with the following since he actually gets drunk at one point in the movie. Plus it's never explained why anyone would want to kill Foster's husband and why the world is stuck in Blade Runner mode.

I have described so far the plot and the stock footage not the acting. this category is strictly sub-par, Wilson is about as expressive as wood I understand he's playing a robot but he brings no charisma or any oomph to the part. Secondly Penn is hammy as the chief bad guy and he rakes the nerves with his constant mugging. Foster is strictly lost and bored in this mess (She isn't the only one bored everyone who watches it will be bored.) No conviction was put into this by those who made it, therefore it lacks any watchable edge whatsoever. Indeed there are many glaring similarities to Roger Corman's equally dull
Crime Zone, which was visually appealing but utterly boring as well.  Although Future Kick may be the first movie ever to show a ladder  behead someone. D.Damon Klaus *
