| Crime Zone (1989) Cast:David Carradine, Sherilyn Fenn,Peter Nelson, Michael Shaner Two degenerates are given a chance to escape their hopeless fate as degenerates, along the way they fall in love and rob banks for more fun in this well made but fairly dull sci-fi thriller. Carradine is all but wasted as a guy who puts this couple through hell, the disinterest by Carradine is absoluately hard to miss, he couldn't be more bored. The rest of the cast fail to really involve us in their would be dillemas and so were left to watch a movie that is so padded and rambling that it just becomes impossible to maintain interest. The main problem with this movie, is that there isn't enough action and being that this is advertised as such, it fails to maintain consistent entertainment as an actioner. As a science fiction thriller the movie is even more of a failure, because everything is replicated from better (and more exciting) movies. The only thing Crime Zone has going for it is it's production values but aside from that this is dullsville. D.Luis Llosa *1/2 |
