| Eraser (1996) Cast:Arnold Schwarzenegger,James Caan,Vanessa Williams Disappointingly routine protection agency yarn that is at least 30 minutes to long. Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as John Krueger who is in the protection agency.When Williams discovers a deadly weapon people are sent to kill her so Schwarzenegger is enlisted to protect her.......Naturally there's a leak in the agency so Arnie becomes a lone wolf. You know the drill. Eraser is smart but it lacks a certain drive that makes most of Arnold's films so memorable. Eraser does have some decent action scenes (Especially one involving Alligators) But overall Eraser is a disappointing set back for the guy who thrilled us in Commando,True Lies,Terminator 2,Total Recall and (of course ) The Terminator ETC.Still Arnold fans won't wanna miss this .D.Charles Russell ** |
