| Army Of One (1993) Cast:Dolph Lundgren,George Segal,Kristian Alfonso,Beau Starr,Geoffrey Lewis Lundgren plays a trucker framed for the murder of a police officer who escapes from jail and must elude a corrupt cop and in the process he kidnaps a female cop who he later joins forces with when she takes a liking to him in this standard action flick. Army Of One offers little substance for the viewer outside the actionscenes, making this an extreme case of style over substance,That being said however the action scenes are very good, the climax in particular is well staged and it breaks up the mindless tedium of this predictable actionflick. Dolph Lundgren fans are sure to love this particular flick as it has him in excellent form, however I couldn't get past the slow beginning as the cliches grind the nerves and personally I enjoyed The Punisher and I Come In Peace much more, that being said, one can certainly do worse than this. .D.Vic Armstrong ** |
