| Bruce Le's Greatest Revenge Cast: Bruce Le, Ku Feng, Bolo Yeung Yet another movie about the oppresive Japanese and their stranglehold on the Chinese in Shanghai, however thankfully Bruce Le is there to teach the Japanese bad asses a lesson in civil rights and liberty, even it means killing them all in the process. Typical martial arts fest of the time with cheap production values and lots of martial arts. I disliked The Chinese Connection with Bruce Lee, so it goes without saying that i'm not a big fan at all of the rip offs of that movie. Bruce Le's Greatest Revenge is one of those flicks that is only one big fight sequence without a plot or anything to make the action mean anything. Bruce Le's Greatest Revenge doesn't have much of a novel variation to break up the tedium of the film's endless repetitiveness. The martial arts sequences are okay but after ahwile you just get bored and this story wasn't all that fun when Bruce Lee did. And at least there the action sequences were great (There just weren't enough of it) and so with that I was hardly impressed with the fight sequences or the story. The dubbing as expected is terrible and the quality is worn out and cheap. So in other words this movie is only for fans of the die hard chop socky effort. D.Tso Nam Lee* |
