Work Experience

Upon graduated from SMK Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, I took upon a part time job in KFC Bandar Tun Hussein Onn for a month. Albeit a short period, it is also one of the most challenging job. Being the backup crew, we are in charge in packing and preparing the intricate foods and making sure there is a constant supply of fried chickens in the fridge. Aside from the cooks, the backup crew had to deal with every side dish offered on the menu, to name a few, we are the ones who prepare the cheese and the wedges of our best seller Cheesy wedges, the Colonel burger, the rice and soup, and so much more.

In a sense, eventhough I managed to work for just one month before quitting to join the National Service, this job teaches me how to work pressure. Sort of like the Masterchefs in their time pressure challenge, being a backup crew is similar to being Masterchefs in a fast food kitchen, because everything must be present and I need to have a good sense of timing in preparing what to make first. For example, since the cheesy wedges is the customers' all time favorite, it was almost always refilled whenever the compartment is running low. I have been taught to follow procedure and communicate with my team members so that we would know what had been done and whats left to be done. Overall, it was a very challenging job, but a good first time experience.

In June 2014, I became a sales assistant for Aroneb boutique cafe. It gained its foundation from a humble Instagram online shop, then gained popularity and developed to a point that its owner had managed to build a physical store to let her customer shop in a better enviroment. It's a concept store that sells a variety of things from clothes to cookies. What this job has taught me is to excercise hospitality in servicing customers. We will always say "Selamat datang" with a smile every time a customer walks in. Working here had improved my communication skills as I have to deal with customers, and sometimes most of them can be picky. My creativity is also sometimes put to the test because sometimes the manager lets us be in charge of the Instagram account for promotional purposes. So we always experiment with colors, pairing them with the right shoes and handbags which will later be captured and posted on Instagram. Overall, working here impacts more on my marketing skills and my ability to communicate and persuade customers to buy our product. A fulfilling job indeed. *cari gambar dekat kaunter aronebdotcom*

To summarize, I have only two experience in working in small organisations. But the experience I have by working at both places is priceless. As time progresses I'm sure my skills grow and be able to After all, isn't all big things made up of little things?

My first experience as a paid photographer is set in a beautiful house for an engagement reception. Being a female photographer, this is quite rare as this profession is dominated by men. This offer was directed by one of my close acquaitance to my client who was looking for a photographer. Enclosed below is some photos taken from the reception.
