Sir Robin Auchinbreck Campbell of Auchinbreck is the 15th baronet Campbell of Auchinbreck, in the baronetage of Scotland and Nova Scotia since the title was created in 1628. He succeeded to the title in 1970, on the death of his father, Sir Louis Campbell, who succeeded his brother two years earlier. Sir Robin Campbell lives at 287A Waikawa Road, Picton.

The founder of the family was Duncan Campbell, of Kilmichael, in Glassary. He was the son of Duncan, first Lord Campbell, by Margaret, his second wife. She was the daughter of Sir John Stewart, of Blackhall, illegitimate son of King Robert III.

The family of the Lords Campbell later became Dukes of Argyll, and remain chiefs of the Clan Campbell.

Duncan Campbell, as a grandson of King Robert III, received a considerable estate. This was confirmed to him by royal charter of 19th June 1452. The family remained at their estate of Auchinbreck, from which they took their title.

In 1628 the then head of the family of Campbells if Auchinbreck received a baronetcy, which, at that time, included a grant of lands in Nova Scotia.

The title conferred upon the first baronet, Sir Dugald, was to his heirs male whatsoever. After the death of the sixth baronet in 1812 the title was in abeyance, their being no single person entitled to it. It was revived in 1841, when the eighth baronet was recognised as the representative of the sixth baronet.

The arms of Campbell, borne in the first quarter of the achievements of the Duke of Argyll, chief of the clan (Mac Cailein mor), are gyronny of eight Or and Sable. All Campbell arms use the gyronny, which is one of the sub-ordinaries produced by dividing the shield per pale per fess, per bend and per bend sinister into eight triangular portions.

The Campbells of Auchinbreck are differenced by the addition of a bordure, and are gyronny of eight Or and Sable a bordure chequy Ermine and Purpure.

The crest is a dexter hand Proper, holding a spur Or.

The motto is Forget not.

Campbell of Auchinbreck has no supporters, though many other Scottish baronets do.
