during this transition, i’ve really come to appreciate my nerdy friendships. friends who share my love for comic books, video games, and obscure trivia have been a huge source of support. our chats about the latest superhero movie or a shared gaming experience have been a great distraction and a reminder that i’m not alone.

even though my romantic relationship ended, the bonds with fellow nerds are still strong. their support has been a bright spot during this uncertain time. it’s good to know there are people who appreciate me for who i am.
