Oil on Pexiglass. (16"x20")

Hey! It's almost been a year since I started painting again. WOW! That's just spiff. But alas, I have some sad news. I am a POSUER. Yes, I know, I should be ashamed. But I just couldn't resist trying Leah's pexiglass painting method. Which, incidently, she also stole. So does this make me a posuer posuer? We may never know. So while you are pondering the many levels of posuerdom, I will elaborate on the painting. Mr. Sendek would not put a unicorn girl in Sideshow, the spring musical. I was so horribly distraught I felt obligated to paint one for the lobby. The nasty guy is a carny (incidently, I play a carnie in Sideshow) selling tickets to see the unicorn girl. Only when I was done painting and people gave the piece odd looks did I remember the unicorn/virgin reference. :::sigh::: All of those sick minds. My paintings are all free of sexual references, thank you very much! But anywya, the lovely vein designs were by accident. I didn't set something on top of the paint in the middle, so when it dried, it lost water (or something) and made pretty patterns. The only downside as that I had to hot glue the pexiglass together. And anyone that knows me knows I should not be trusted wth hot glue guns.
