Acrylic on canvas (11"x11"x11")

My sister had made this scuplture out of triangle wood frames. She eventually dismantled the thing and I got my hands on a piece of it and made a triangle canvas out of it. Why? Because I felt like it, dammit. There is absolutely no symbolism here whatsoever. It's actually mocking paintings that are painted just to be weird. To quote Leah, "They're like, I'll put a chicken head on a snake. That will look really DEEP." Can YOU think of a better use of a triangle canvas? Eh, shut up. I don't care if you can. It's already been painted.

Wait! There IS meaning. Or at least Ron Ragin found some. Examine:

Ron's Poetetic Response

in desolation i find solace
it brings me content
to kno that
something is worse off than me
as my dry eyes gaze
half-heartedly at the eclipse
of the sun
my world seems upside down
grown out of the dust
the shadows slowly slant away
everything slants away
until darkness encompasses my being
but this wind-swept desert
the portrait of my heart
makes me feel better
because i kno that somewhere
outside of this desolation
is something more lonely than me
